My bounty hunter character Galation (minus the apostrophes I had to add.) I wasn't really on the ball when naming my characters for my first run. I had a lingering bounty hunter named Graggory, who looked very similar to this one. I'll feature him at the end too, although he's on Dromund Kaas, not Nar Shaddaa. Because that's where the stronghold that's technically his is located.
Graggory is obviously a variation on Gregory. I don't remember how I came up with that now. But Graggory became defunct and extra, although I later finished up the story with him. In fact, it was playing with Graggory that convinced me that I needed to be a bit more systematic; track what areas were supposed to be done when, etc. Anyway, the first four characters I made were Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, although not necessarily in that order. The rest of the characters have names like Phillippion, Galation, Corinthion, and Actsion, so you can see that a New Testament theme was there for some bizarre reason. I can't explain why I thought to do that anymore at this stage, but I'm stuck with the names now. Oh, well.
Anyway, the outfits...
I was so excited to get this chestpiece, and then once I did, I found that it never looked as good as I thought it would from previews and other people's screenshots. Sigh. I also can't, for the life of me, get the other color version from Alliance Crates that you could wear at 10th level. But at this point, I don't care as much anymore. The gloves and boots are from the Iokath reputation, but they matches with the glowing sky blue. I don't use this all that often.
One of two classic looks for the bounty hunter. This chestpiece and that helmet are very early high level armors from way back when the game was new, and I love the classic look.
I always say that characters need "everyday" wear too; not just armor all the time. (The Mandalorian notwithstanding.) Plus, I've always liked this look. I pioneered a version of it first on my sniper, but I've used it on other characters too just because I like it so much.
The second one, noted above. Totally different chestpiece, although it's an old classic too. I dyed it because the chestpiece has a weird secondary color that doesn't cross into your other pieces quite right. The original color of the armor is mostly a kind of army green, but sadly you can't get your helmet and legs to match very well.
I liked this armor so much that I basically used the same thing for my new agent playthrough. Minus the alternate Mandalorian helmet, of course. I used that helmet probably too much for too many bounty hunter outfits. But I do really like it.
A totally different "casual streetwear" look for the bounty hunter.
An experimental look that I quite like. I used some of this on an alternate outfit for my Jedi, and it's the basis for my recordable bounty hunter as well.
This armor is made up mostly of world drops that you get at high level, so I think most people don't really value the pieces. I've always thought that they looked pretty darn cool, though—although I tweaked the gloves and greaves recently, otherwise I've had this look for months and I consider it one of the iconic looks for this character.
This character's iconic "streetwear" outfit, which I've also had for a very long time. Also made up of world drops.
This is pretty much the look that I ended up transferring to my recordable smuggler, except without the facemask (maybe I'll wear one when I'm on Quesh, since the atmosphere is supposed to be poisonous.) I don't know how long I'll keep this "space biker" outfit on my bounty hunter, especially since I'm literally using it for another character, but I'm not in a particular hurry to replace it. What a great look regardless.
Why haven't I been showing off my gun too? Anyway, this outfit is one that I just recently bought on the GTN, and I had to equip it to unlock it to collections. I probably shouldn't have even bothered to screenshot this one, but I did have it currently in my outfits slot, even if only temporarily, so I did anyway.
Same commentary on both the chestpiece and the helmet that I've already made above.
I did warn you that I used this helmet too much! Anyway, I made this armor set as a kind of rough, frontier planet kind of look. I'm pretty happy with it and I use it a fair amount.
Eyepatches equal pirate. Maybe I should have taken this screenshot on Rishi? Anyway, it's a classic heavy armor look for Old Republic bounty hunters. Given that Graggory is kind of a good guy bounty hunter and this is a bright outfit, it seems to fit him.
The Mandalorian. Kinda. Obviously, it'd be even more iconic if I used the Infamous Bounty Hunter head piece, but I haven't bought that armor set yet, and I kind of like not using it anyway. This is a newish outfit for the character, but it's the one that I will probably use the most going forward, and I've already done a lot of grinding in this.
