Following a second (or third, depending on how you count it) summer vacation, to Northern California this time around, I believe that I'm back in town until mid-September, at least. It's been over a month since I've been in a normal routine, and I'm excited to (hopefully) fix that in the near future. Still not sure where I'm going to land in terms of post series, or what I'll settle down and be excited to post about. But I'll figure that out soon...
I suspect that I will talk about more high level, general RPG topics here, and keep Dark Fantasy X clear for topics that are directly related to that game (or its sisters; Space Opera X and Fantasy Hack X) so that will allow me to get back to the bread and butter that originally made up this blog... on this blog. Seems reasonable, right? Kinda. Dark Fantasy X is the derivative direct descendent by anagenesis of Dark Heritage. This blog still retains that name, but that name has become a fossil, having little if anything to do with the content of the blog anymore, but still identifying it by name. Oh, well.
Oh, and check this out: https://www.takimag.com/article/the-valley-of-greta/
One more thing; I had an order from Amazon arrive while I was away. I ordered a set of dice; five sets of "Chessex" style swirled color dice, bringing my total in the bag that has that kind of dice to it to ten sets, and one more set of Q-Workshop dice (most of which are Pathfinder) bringing my total to seven there. I also have four metal dice sets, and an assortment of odd dice; mostly from sets that I used to have but which lost a dice, so I no longer have a complete set, or something like that.
I have a lot of dice. Way more than I could possible ever need. But I like having lots of dice, so I'll probably still get more. I trimmed a bunch of fat from my Amazon wishlist today, including lots of sets of dice, but I still have four more Q-Workshop sets, and five more metal sets that I'd like to get before I consider myself more or less done with buying dice.
And this while I'm going through a dry spell where I'm not even playing. Sigh.
