By the time we get this deep into the iconics, the bios are just getting weird. Crowe is the bloodrager, a kind of hybrid between sorcerer and barbarian which is, yes, a weird combo. Crowe's bio is less of a bio and more of a short story, just a single incident when he "came into" his powers. It's kind of dumb. Why do characters "come into" their powers? This story feels like a leftover vignette from some 80s X-men character, not a fantasy character. Anyway, Crowe, yeah. He's a Shoanti bloodrager. Shoanti don't really have a real world analog, unlike many of the fantasy races, although they do borrow a lot from the more warlike Plains Indians tribes than they do from anyone else, I think. Curiously, since the Shoanti played such a prominent role in the first two adventure paths, they haven't done so much since, and I'd need to review to make sure, but I think this is the first Shoanti iconic character.
