Nyarlathotep. In a semi-human form. I don't know that he always needs to be so monstrous looking. he's mostly supposed to represent the Satan avatar who takes a fair face. But, whatever.
Giant robots fighting over cities in space.
Strahd, D&D's bowdlerized take on Dracula. And an important part of any TIMISCHBURG setting is bowdlerized Dracula-like vampires, of course.
Abomination. I tend to use pictures of him, and more humanoid versions of Killer Croc, to represent the Oerks in AD ASTRA.
Space (and even fantasy) needs to have predators that are analogs to earth predators yet not obviously the exact same thing.
I'm not sure if this is a fake Conan or what, but it reminds me somewhat of the centaur people in The Moon Maid.
I mentioned recently that I'd left off one of the Wayne Reynolds dragon fighting pictures. This is the one I was thinking of.
I'm not sure what the weird grayish and maroonish guy is supposed to be (a goliath?) and I think he's fighting some kind of lizardman, but it looks just like a kroxigor to me.
Another sword & sorcery like painting, of a guy and girl fighting some lions.
When morlocks try to sacrifice your white girls to an octopus, you go all fake Conan on them and kill them with axes. It's just what you do (speaking of which, the Brits need to pick up their axes and get busy...)
Blond Conan rescues a redhead from a somewhat cartoonish looking giant snake.
