Too bad the franchise has lost its connection to the Force itself. Oh, well. We still had some good times.
Meanwhile, I'm getting close to wrapping up my hardtrance collecting (I mean, you never really finish, do you, but I'm close to wrapping up the stuff that I have on deck to clean up and add to my phone and to my list, I've already stopped actively looking for new pieces, etc.) And while I could have spent another hour and a half going through my tracks on deck (I've got about 40 or so left, and I would have needed to listen to all of them straight through. In an hour and a half, I could easily have done... oh, maybe about ten or so) instead, I spent some of that time making Hardstyle megamix #8.
This one is also unusual in that it features a lot of songs that are not normally associated with hardstyle, but these are remixes that make them into hardstyle. Not all of the tracks are such, of course, but quite a few of them. I've had some other songs in my megamixes like this in the past (in particular, I'm thinking of the Showtek remix of System F's "Out of the Blue" and Zatox's remix of Mauro Picotto's "Komodo" here—not stuff where Geck-o deliberately samples and kind of "remakes" Blondie's "One Way or Another" into a hardstyle song. Although I guess maybe I should count that too.) On the other hand, I've got two A*S*Y*S songs from his newest album, Grand Theft Acid, Part 2 and while I don't normally associate him with hardstyle, those are straight up hardstyle songs straight as originally released.
Anyway, here's the complete tracklist of this megamix.
