Supernatural and Western Hack

I'd envision WESTERN HACK as an actual fantasy setting, albeit one based on the Old West rather than Medieval Europe.  So, obviously there's going to be some supernatural, because that's one of the main elements of the fantasy genre that people expect.  That said, I expect a rather low-magic fantasy setting, rather than a high magic fantasy setting.  I expect sword & sorcery, just with cowboys instead of sword-wielding barbarians.  I expect dark fantasy, where the supernatural takes on the trappings of horror moreso than of high fantasy.

Anyway, here's some videos that show that RDR actually has more supernatural than many people realize.  Although, it ideally needs to be brought more to the forefront rather than being merely a background element.  If the supernatural doesn't feature significantly in the development of the plot, or the setting, then it's not really fantasy.  RDR manages to do it in such a way that you could—maybe—explain all of the supernatural as not supernatural but rather just bizarrely coincidental, or even simply miss it entirely.

There's more, here and there, like the nosferatu, for instance, or the UFOs, but this is the majority of them.

Next time I use the WESTERN HACK tag, I hope to have sketched out a very roughed out schematic of the setting.  This won't really be a usable map, more a rough sketch and some description.
