Well, I finished the Old Republic stuff faster than I thought. I blazed through the last bit of the bounty hunter class story and got the legendary player status. I then did the last story flashpoint, Secrets of the Enclave, with my Jedi Knight, as well as the short conversation menus that follow. For the first time ever, there are no story quests left for him to do.
Ideally, I've go through the whole expansion series with my Sith Warrior, choosing Imperial options instead of Republic ones this time, but that's still a ways off, assuming I do it at all. For the time being, I have no story content left to do that's pressing, only optional stuff, and events, and dailies, and stuff like that. It's nice to have a bit of a break from feeling like there's anything looming over me. I can get around to my Sith Warrior's playthrough of the expansion material much more leisurely. Sure, there'll be a few differences between the Imperial and Republic sides of some of those flashpoints, but still. I don't want to wait.
Starting sometime tomorrow, I'm going to embark on the Mother of All Reviews of this game, which will span multiple posts. I'll talk about the game itself, the mechanics, the graphics, and most of all the story. I'll review the stories of each class as well as the expansion stories. I'm actually kind of excited to talk all about it now that I'm done. Not that I haven't been talking about it plenty anyway, but it's different, when I'm not just sitting back and reviewing the whole thing, but just kind of chatting randomly.
In any case, my only concern is that some of my memories of some of the class stories are a bit hazy. I played most of them over six months ago. Two of them I had started but not finished until recently, so that big gap probably also introduced a discontinuity of sorts. But, what can you do? There's so much content that it's inevitable that you can't look back on it and remember every detail.
