High Republic changes

YouTuber Mike Zeroh is reporting in at least two videos that Bob Chapek has stepped in and canceled the Kathleen Kennedy version of High Republic. Wars are to be reintroduced to Star Wars, and dinosaurs are out. George Lucas was brought back as a creative consultant, and he's reimagining and rewriting most of her concepts. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are also rumored to be on board.

No idea what the source of this is, but if true, the High Republic looks like it might well be much better than I feared it would be. Not necessarily good... You can peruse the archives to see my mixed reactions to the work of Lucas, Favreau and Filoni.

Anyway, I'd classify this as a rumor at this point, rather than news, but if it does turn out to be news, it'll be good news, I think.
