And I've got a handful of early hardstyle songs in my hardtrance megamixes that aren't in hardstyle megamixes, but they're often stuff that straddles the line, like "Dusky Noises" by Analogic Disturbance, the Dark By Design remix of "No Alternative" by RBA, and various versions of songs by DJ Virus or Session One (otherwise known as Blutonium Boy) and DJ Neo.
I had actually thought about adding a few more early hardstyle songs to the hardtrance group of tracks; stuff like the original "Junior" by Speedwave, or something like that.
But I'm actually thinking of going the other way, not adding any more and in fact taking a few tracks out of consideration that are on my hardtrance population because they've already been in a hardstyle megamix (I'm thinking specifically of that Reversebass remix of "Focus" by Droid, and "Deadlock" by Future Tribes, the aforementioned K-Traxx songs that haven't come up yet, etc.
Sigh. I'm on the fence about what I think is the right approach.
In the meantime, I'm up to 40 made mixes.

As an aside; having made 40 megamixes, I decided to see how much of my relevant collection that uses. I have 956 songs listed on my big list of songs. I have three songs incorporated which I've since taken off the list, for a total of 959. That almost divides very nicely by 12, which is the number of songs that I use in each mix.
If you consider the one System 7 song that I have that's over 19 minutes long and which I've long felt that when it comes up I need it to take two slots, then I get a virtual 960, which does divide evenly by 12. Into 80. So, I'm exactly halfway through my rush of making mixes.
That also brings up some weird thoughts about the randomization. I have some artists that I've added more recently that haven't come up a lot yet, so they'll be much more heavy in the rotation of the second half of mixes (Marcos and the Sixth Sense in particular here, but also a few like DJ Overdog.)
I have some other songs that have been on the list all along but which haven't come up, and I'm a little surprised by that. No Pho, or L'Age Synthetique or SMP + Bas & Ram? I've also used up almost all of my A*S*Y*S, Tommy Pulse, Luca Antolini, Tankis & Savietto, and a few other guys songs, even though I've got a lot of them.
So, the character of the second half may change somewhat. That doesn't really matter, I suppose. Ideally, I'd listen to these by putting the folder that has all of them in it on shuffle and then blasting it from the car stereo most of the time anyway.
I can then go back to using my phone for regular music, not DJ Sets.
