RDR weekly update

70% off of Breton horses! Holy crap; I better hurry and get those last five levels of Bounty Hunter done this week so I can get one of the top tier Breton's while they're that freakin' cheap! 70% off is a freakin' huge deal!

Plus, a lot of that stuff isn't wonderful, but I'll take more free mash, I'll buy another heavily discounted stable stall to have one in reserve; maybe even two! and I kinda want the free appearance changer. Although I picked the athletic body type, I feel like it's kinda skinny and round-shouldered looking all of the time. I'd like to experiment with the burly look, as long as it doesn't end up being fat.

And if 40% is off any horse, I might pick up a Missouri Foxtrotter or White Arabian. I still don't think I want to spend the gold bars for a Black Arabian, even if it is 40% fewer than normal. 40% off of 46, or whatever exactly the cost is, is still too many; close to thirty gold bars. No thanks.

Some of the limited time clothing looks appealing too. Sadly, I just spend a ton of money, but maybe I can get up early and do coin runs for the next few days and earn some decent cashola so I can buy more stuff before it's gone.

Although I note that the limited time clothing is going to be here for two weeks, not just one.

Well... it looks like the mash and stable stuff is carryover, and since I've already redeemed it, I can't get it. Sigh. On the other hand, I bought most of the limited time clothes that I want, and I've grinded up to level 17 (2½ more levels to go!) I'm enjoying the limited time snowfall today, although the lobbies seem busy, and animals are few and far between. Need to do a few more moonshine runs for more cash, and I'm getting close to a trader run, and if I have time, I'll see what I can do about collecting some coins and jewelry. All so I can buy some bounty hunter outfits at 50% off and a top tier bounty hunter horse at 70% before Monday night ends.

It goes without saying, of course, that all of that needs to be done AROUND grinding bounty hunter missions. I really would like to top off the bounty hunter sooner rather than later, and get the steel gray Breton sometime this weekend. But I'd also like to get some 50% outfits. Sigh. Money, money, money. The guys who spend a couple hours a day simply collecting collectables have tons of money, but us more reasonable people who generally only HAVE a couple hours of play to do ANYTHING, if even that, seem to always be scraping by. A few limited time outfits show up, and we're tapped out.
