Friday Art Attack

Original Clash of the Titans poster.  As cheesy as the movie looks today, it's an infinitely better movie than the remake, mostly because it actually features likable and relatable characters, which the new one does not.

I'm gonna guess he can take that helmet off after all...

It's important not to lose sight of big gigantic dinoaurs.  I'm going to guess that this is a weird fantasy-upped Spinosaurus killing some T. rexes.

I'm not a huge fan of these montage style images, sometimes, but they do at least offer a lot of opportunity to find plot ideas.

Northwest Smith, often called the prototype for Han Solo.  Except his stories are much darker.  Here, he's foolishly stepping in to save an alien Medusa.

Yeah, I dunno.  I like this image, but I don't know for sure what it's supposed to mean.

Of course, if I liked the last one, I love this one!  You simply don't go wrong with Frazetta, though.

It's still the week of Halloween, so let's throw this in there.

Flash Gordon and his buddy Hans Zarkov against.... I dunno; is that Princess Aura?

John Carter is the original, though. Although I do like Flash quite a bit.

It's always a good idea to do something with undead dragons.  My version of them is the Fell Ghast.

Some synthwave retro-80s artwork.  Love it.

Ken Kelly was mostly an imitation Frank Frazetta, but maybe that's not entirely fair to him, as he was a talented guy too.  This is the cover for one of the later books in Lin Carter's Callisto series, his most famous fake Barsoom.
